We are targeting the production of Omega-3 bioactive compounds from three species: Tuna; Hoki and marine-farmed Salmon. Each of our target markets has specific requirements for traceability through the supply chain from fishing vessels forward.
We manufacture our Omega-3 products in accordance with GOED (Global Organization for EPA and DHA), setting product standards higher than any single regulatory regime in the world.
Finished, refined Omega-3 and Omega- 2 oils are tested by independent accredited laboratories that use internationally-agreed methodologies, evaluating for total Omega-3 EPA and DHA, Omega-2 content as well ensuring that all products meet standards for contaminant levels.

In providing the 2018 Notice of Meeting, SeaDragon has been unable to comply with R8.5 of the NZX Corporate Governance Code. Recommendation 8.5 notes that “the board should ensure that the annual shareholders notice of meeting is posted on the issuer’s website as soon as possible and at least 28 days prior to the meeting”. SeaDragon is dispatching the notice of meeting to shareholders and providing it on SeaDragon’s website 19 days prior to the meeting. This is because:
- as further noted in the Notice of Meeting, SeaDragon requires additional capital to cover both estimated working capital requirements and continuing operating losses. SeaDragon is unable to fully draw down on the new convertible loan note facilities with cornerstone shareholders until shareholder approval is obtained at the annual meeting;
- SeaDragon is required to obtain those shareholders approvals at its annual meeting on or prior to 15 August 2018, and failure to do so would constitute an event of default under the new convertible loan note facilities; and
- a number of SeaDragon’s directors are scheduled to be overseas during August, and the selected date for the annual shareholders’ meeting is the latest date on which a majority of the non-associated directors of SeaDragon are able to attend the annual meeting.
